- •Our service is free to homeowners. We are compensated by our installer network.
SMS Terms
By providing your phone number and submitting a request, you agree to receive automated text messages from Backup Power Texas regarding your backup power assessment. This includes assessment confirmations, bill upload reminders, and responses to inquiries. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Standard message and data rates may apply.
MMS Terms
You may submit energy bill images via text message (MMS) or through our website for analysis. By sending images, you confirm you have the right to share this information and that the images are of your own energy bills.

Backup Power Texas is not liable for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any installation work performed by third-party installers we connect you with. We vet our installer partners, but your contract and relationship are directly with the installer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Backup Power Texas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
